At the end of morning class, students were briefed on the afternoon immersion activity. This learning opportunity had students in groups and assigned to 3 different locations in and around the capital city of Accra. These locations were chosen for their cultural differences and students were asked to observe, take photos when possible and to talk with people. At some point soon students will be writing for the blog and I want their impressions and observations to come forth, so I will not say more here. Students returned hot and tired but pleased with themselves in their accomplishments.
The weather has been favorable with a mix of cloud cover and sun and always a nice breeze blowing. Stay tuned for photos of our batik workshop which is Wednesday afternoon.
